Let us not forget Sergeant Alvin Eugene Wiles, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SGT Wiles served our country until May 13th, 1968 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. Alvin died from an undetermined explosion. His body was recovered. Alvin was born on July 20th, 1946 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

SGT Wiles is on panel 60E, line 005 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
