Let us not forget Staff Sergeant Clarence H Washington, Jr, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SSG Washington served our country until May 9th, 1968 in Bing Long, South Vietnam. He was 24 years old and was married. Clarence died from multiple fragmentation wounds. His body was recovered. Clarence was born on August 6th, 1943 in Newburgh, Indiana.

SSG Washington is on panel 58E, line 002 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 6 years.
