Let us not
forget Private First Class John Douglas Jr Ward, casualty of the
Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Ward served
our country until January 31st, 1968 in Gia Dinh, South Vietnam. He was
20 years old and was not married. John died from small arms fire. His
body was recovered. John was born on August 16th, 1947 in Lancing,
Tennessee.
PFC Ward is on panel 36E, line 041 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in
Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
