Let us not forget Corporal Wilson Decosta Thomas, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, CPL Thomas served our country until June 15th, 1969 in Binh Duong, South Vietnam. He was 24 years old and was married. Wilson died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. Wilson was born on May 18th, 1945 in South Hill, Virginia.

CPL Thomas is on panel 22W, line 055 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
