"Best buddies" - We were high school friends and were drafted together in 1969. Some said we resembled each other, almost twins. We were together in the Army, almost to the end; from basic, AIT, Oakland, New York, Oakland again, and Viet Nam. I came back and he did not.

We raised some real hell together. Gordy was a Golden Gloves boxer and was great to be with during some of those episodes.

After a couple of months in Viet Nam we were reassigned and I never saw Gordy again. We'll meet again, good buddy.
