MEMORIALS FOR CPT JOHN W. SADLER AT
VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL FUND (www.vvmf.org)

"With Me Always" - John, I talked to your son and wife a few years ago. It was one of the hardest things I have every done. She's never remarried and he is an adult now. They live in El Paso, TX. I guess he was 10 or so when you and I were last together in Cam Lon. He sounded like a great guy, and she misses you a lot. I still can't believe that you are gone. I wish I could have done something to make it a little easier for you in those last few moments. We talked and you called me by name, and then you were gone. But you never really left, because there are very few days when I don't think of you. Team 46, Dien Khanh.
