"Eternal Peace" - I served with Sgt. Rapp in the 1st MP Co./1st Inf. Div., he and Clifford Taylor were both the guys who taught me the ropes when I first arrived in country. Both were fine men, brave soldiers, and good friends....and both died together. I will never forget either. Thank you for your sacrifice and R.I.P.

"Peace, Billy." - Billy and I were good buddieswhen we were stationed in Xian. The day before he was killed him and I had a good time playing football. We had a saying in Nam every time something bad happened, we said "It don't mean nothing, man, it just don't mean nothing".That was our way of dealing with the insanity of that war. But I was wrong this time, it did mean something and it still does now, to me. You were a good man Billy, and a good friend. Peace.

Let us not forget Sergeant Billy Wayne Rapp, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SGT Rapp served our country until March 21st, 1969 in Binh Duong, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. Billy died from small arms fire. His body was recovered. Billy was born on May 30th, 1947 in Gorby, West Virginia.

SGT Rapp is on panel 28W, line 002 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 2 years.
