On Saturday,
October 16, 1971, Sp/4 Larry Floyd Miller, age 24, B Company, was on
the roof of a billet in Vin Long performing maintenance on an antenna.
While adjusting it, the antenna inadvertently struck a power line
causing him to fall two stories resulting in a severe head injury. SP/4
Miller later died from the injuries.
SP/4 Miller was the last B Company and 720th MP Batalion casualty in
the Vietnam War.
