"Brave Young
Soldier" - I did not know this young soldier; but I do know that
on the 13th of May 1968 he was killed along side my cousin, SSgt Bobby
C. Wood; while defending a firebase on Black Virgin Mountain. While
assisting my cousin with a .50 caliber machinegun an RPG came through
the porthole and ended both of their lives. John; I also came to
Vietnam the next year. Just want you and Bobby to know we got some of
them for you.
