by the Defense Department that their son, as a member of the 25th
Infantry, 25th Military Police Company, was fatally injured while on
patrol about 60 miles southwest of Saigon when his jeep struck a land
mine. Prior to his induction into the Army on May 17, 1968, Lee was
employed at the Westinghouse Electric Aero-Space plant in Glen Burnie,
MD. He received his basic training at Fort Dix, NJ and Camp Gordon, GA
