Each
year Connie Kloss decorates her Holiday home for Halloween. It’s one
way Kloss remembers her daughter who was murdered while serving in the
military.
Holiday-Ghosts moan from the trees, skeletons poke up from the ground
and fog drifts through the graveyard.
For most visitors to this Halloween house in Holiday, the display is
just silly, scary fun. But for Connie Kloss it means a bit more. The
display holds memories of her daughter Seanna.
Seanna was murdered in 1992 while serving in the military. Seanna loved
Halloween and Kloss says that by decorating her yard each year it helps
ease her sadness.
When Kloss sees others enjoying the display, it brings a bit of her
daughter back. “I see my daughter there smiling and if I can bring a
smile to a child’s face, it’s well worth the effort and money.”
