The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cliffwood Presbyterian Church, Augusta, with the Rev. Charles Rector officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mr. Holliday, a native of Elkins, W.Va., had retired as a sergeant major after 30 years from the Army and as a security officer from Bankruptcy Court. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean War. He was Boy Scout Scoutmaster Committee Chairman, was scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troup 99 and a member of Fort Gordon Enlisted Retiree Council, Eisenhower Hospital Council and Cliffwood Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judith A. Holliday; two sons, Eric A. Holliday and Brian A. Holliday, both of Augusta; a daughter, Lori A. Edwards, Hephzibah; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
