letter in early '68. I was with my unit a short distance south of you
at Hue City when I heard the news and I cried.

Let us not forget Private First Class Thomas Marvin Holcombe, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, PFC Holcombe served our country until April 21st, 1968 in Thua Thien, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old and was not married. Thomas died from undetermined causes .His body was recovered. Thomas was born on May 23rd, 1948 in San Diego, California.
PFC Holcombe is
on panel 51E, line 021 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.
He served our country for one year.
