Let us not forget Sergeant Leroy Ernest Jr Halbert, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SGT Halbert served our country until December 31st, 1970 in Khanh Hoa, South Vietnam. He was 32 years old and was not married. Leroy was intentionally murdered. His body was recovered. Leroy was born on December 18th, 1938 in Delano, California.

SGT Halbert is on panel 05W, line 017 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.
