"Uncle Russ" - My Uncle Russ was my hero. We all loved him and looked up to him. He loved to beat us at Canasta and teach us how to play 52-pick up. We still really miss him! Would love to hear from anyone who served with him.

Let us not forget Specialist Four Russell G Garrison, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SP4 Garrison served our country until September 8th, 1967 in Pleiku, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. Russell died when his helicopter crashed into the land. His body was recovered. Russell was born on December 16th, 1945 in Elmer, New Jersey.

SP4 Garrison is on panel 26E, line 034 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
