"Seems like yesterday" - I can remember you using us as weights lifting us high to the ceiling than back down again over and over I never felt so safe as in those days. You were so strong, such a tough guy image but I knew you had a heart of gold. Till we meet again Ida

"a part of our lives..." - My wife Jodi is Craig's daughter and was born just nine months before Craig was KIA; although neither of us ever met Craig, we feel he is a part of our lives through the stories of him from his wife Diane, pictures & yearbooks from his high-school days, and memories shared on this site from friends Craig had. We remember him always.

"Craig - a former teammate at East Islip H.S." - I played football with Craig from 1961-63 at East Islip High School. Craig was a leader; a tough, dedicated, and fearless player. I was not surprised to learn he was in Special Forces; he never backed away from a challenge. I always admired him and was saddened to learn of his loss.

"Gone but not forgotten" - Craig, Thirty-two years after your death I still think of you. A charter member of the Red Hats at East Islip High School and a hell of a friend. I'll always remember our Pabst Blue Ribbon times at Jim's Bar and Grill in Oakdale, especially the time you rolled your car (with me in it) on the way home. Rest peacefully until we meet again.

"LONG OVERDUE" - Craig was a great athlete in high school. He was well known for his great wrestling and football achievements. A street is named after him in Islip Terrace and the army should be proud to have had him in their ranks.
