Let us not forget Sergeant Douglas William Doody, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SGT Doody served our country until January 31st, 1968 in Gia Dinh, South Vietnam. He was 23 years old and was not married. Douglas died from multiple fragmentation wounds. His body was recovered. Douglas was born on April 3rd, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio.

SGT Doody is on panel 36E, line 006 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 3 years.
