Let us not forget Lieutenant Colonel William C Iii De Lapp, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, LTC De Lapp served our country until March 8th, 1968 in Phu Yen, South Vietnam. He was 39 years old and was married. William died from friendly fire. His body was recovered. William was born on December 29th, 1928 in Pacific Palisades, California.

LTC De Lapp is on panel 43E, line 053 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 20 years.
