Army PBRs...
June 30, 1969 - SGT Eugene T. Cox, 21, of Jackson Heights, New York and
PFC James H. Workman, 20, of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, two military
policemen of C Company, 716th MP Battalion, respond to a report
of a drunken soldier in a bar in Saigon. They are shot dead by LTC
Nguyen Viet Can, commander of the ARVN Airborne Battalion that guards
the Vietnamese Presidential Palace. No charges are filed against
the ARVN officer.
