Let us not forget Specialist Four Michael Archie Blakey, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SP4 Blakey served our country until January 14th, 1969 in Dinh Tuong, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old and was not married. Michael died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. Michael was born on February 24th, 1949 in North Highlands, California.

SP4 Blakey is on panel 35W, line 087 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
