Let us not forget Private
First Class Donald Richard Barrett, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a
member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Barrett served our country
until August 18th, 1969 in Quang, Ngai, South Vietnam. He was 23 years
old and was not married. Donald died from an undetermined explosion.
His body was recovered. Donald was born on June 8th, 1946 in
Indianapolis, Indiana.
PFC Barrett is on panel 19W,
line 058 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our
country for less than a year.
